Here’s your chance to contribute to a worthy cause: The Leonard Russell Hauff Foundation for Therapeutic Riding, Inc., a not-for-profit organization operating out of Manitou Farm in Garrison since 1980. We teach riding and horse sports to children and adults who are developmentally disabled, physically challenged or have social disorders. We also offer all levels of riding and horse care, since 1958, to children and adults from Westchester and Putnam County. The students have worked to produce an equestrian event that will raise funds for a new ring and contribute to the support of our 15 horses.
This will be held at Putnam Park in Carmel, NY, on October , 2006. It will be comprised of three phases, to test the horses in Dressage, Cross Country and Stadium Jumping. Levels of competency are: Beginner Novice, Beginner Elementary, and “I never did this before” within which there are Juniors (under 18), Seniors (50 and over) and everyone else. Awards will be issued in overall scores as well as for the best Dressage test in each of the categories. Your help will be appreciated in making this a super success.
Banners will be in two colors (i.e. blue on red, yellow on green, etc.) and will have writing on them.

Being a grandiose donator, of $1,000.00 or more will get your name or business rated as one of the event sponsors, a banner with your name or business’ name hung on the ring in a prominent space, a full page advertisement in the catalogue, and an alphabetically listed name on the donor pages.

A $500.00 grand donation will allow your banner to fly and will give you a full page advertisement and a listing in the catalogue

A wonderful $250.00 will give you a full page advertisement and a listing for your business or name in the catalogue.

½ page is $150.00, ¼ page is $100.00, and 1/8 page(Business card size) is $50.00. You will also be cited on the donors page as appreciated supporters.

Special art logos can be negotiated. We will be happy to give you the banner at the end of the day for your other uses, or we can store it away for next year’s event, where the space alone will be the donated issue. Should you wish to hang your own banner, please contact the advertising chairman.

What more could we ask of you? Well, you might come out in advance to join the fun of building, painting, grass-cutting, digging, hauling, signaging and generally keeping up of morale. Or you might come the day to direct traffic, cook hot dogs, catch loose horses, fence judge, put back knocked down jumps, bring hot coffee to the judges, collect stray pinnies or moral build! You are definitely needed here!! Could be you are a budding horseman who might venture out to compete? We have made it simple and stressless. Try it.
